When I’m down or when I’m scared I try to turn to something positive, something that gives me hope again. These days I went back to read a book: A paradise built in hell, from Rebecca Solnit.
It is a book about what happens after disasters.
Although I read the book before I now opened it again and started from the beginning.
I thought I could share with you its very first words and maybe you get excited as well.
I recorded my voice while I’m outside sitting next to Bowie (my son) sleeping, so few times you hear the wind, sorry about that :) and of course my English speaking is also not the best so also sorry for that :)
My instructions for today's care action are simple:
Find a place where you can lie down
Close your eyes
Listen to my recording.
And...
If you want you can also read something back to me, I would like that.
You can choose the book that makes you hopeful, record a moment from it, and post it here in the comments, or send it to me on info[a]mohaproject.com
I will add it to this post as a collection of care readings
